The Role
VinZone is seeking a Spare Parts Specialist (Purchaser) with proven experience in automotive procurement and vendor management to lead sourcing for premium European (BMW, Mercedes) and Korean/Japanese brands within our Cairo operations.
This is a full-time role integrating physical sourcing (~60%) and digital catalog integration (~40%) to enhance VinZone’s inventory excellence and support its e-commerce and B2B marketplace channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and onboard local and international suppliers of OEM and aftermarket spare parts for BMW, Mercedes, Korean & Japanese vehicles.
  • Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead-times, payment terms, and returns policies to optimize cost and supply continuity.
  • Verify OEM part numbers and cross-reference vehicle fitment, model year, and region to ensure technical accuracy and compatibility.
  • Use ERP and CRM systems for supplier registration, parts master data management, and procurement tracking.
  • Forecast demand based on B2B/B2C trends; model lead-time buffers and safety stock.
  • Monitor stock levels and aging inventory; initiate replenishment or clearance actions as needed.
  • Ensure accurate digital listing of parts (images, specs, fitment) for online and B2B platforms.
  • Track supplier KPIs (lead-time adherence, quality rejects, return rate); drive vendor performance improvement.
  • Analyze cost structures (FX, freight, customs) and landed costs per SKU; recommend optimization strategies.
  • Produce weekly/monthly procurement dashboards (cost savings, supplier growth, inventory turns, returns).
  • Conduct market intelligence on emerging brands and EV/hybrid spare-parts trends.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with warehouse, finance, logistics, and e-commerce teams.
  • Mentor junior procurement staff as the business scales.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in spare parts purchasing/procurement within the automotive industry (Egypt or MENA).
  • Strong hands-on technical knowledge of vehicle systems (engine, transmission, chassis, electronics).
  • ERP and CRM fluency for procurement and inventory workflows.
  • Proven stock analysis, forecasting, and inventory control capabilities.
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship skills.
  • Advanced MS Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Fluent English; native Arabic preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in digital marketplace or omnichannel parts platforms (catalog digitization and SKU taxonomy).
  • Previous roles as E-commerce Catalog Manager or Marketplace Procurement Specialist.
  • Background in hybrid/EV parts sourcing or premium brand networks.
  • Global aftermarket experience (multi-region vendor pooling and catalog integration).
  • ERP/CRM project implementation leadership.
  • Multi-language ability (German, Korean, Japanese).
  • Predictive analytics or machine-learning forecasting experience for inventory optimization.
  • Established supplier network for BMW/Mercedes/Korean/Japanese brands in the Middle East.
  • Familiarity with premium-brand service centers (BMW/Mercedes certified workshops).
